Active Network, a division of Global Payments, is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join our team. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads to support our sales team. You will play a crucial role in the sales process by identifying potential customers, initiating contact, and nurturing relationships to create opportunities for our sales team. Summary of This Role SDRs often engage with potential customers through cold outreach, email campaigns, and other marketing efforts to identify prospects who have a genuine interest in the product or service. They play a crucial role in the sales pipeline by ensuring that the sales team is focused on high-quality leads, which can lead to increased conversion rates and revenue for the organization. What Part Will You Play? Proactively reach out to prospects via telephone to identify key decision-makers Qualify leads and guide them through the sales pipeline with precision and expertise Conduct thorough needs analysis and account qualification at all prospect levels Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing clients to enhance client relationships Manage client relationships and expectations throughout the sales cycle to ensure customer satisfaction What Are We Looking For in This Role? Previous experience in sales or customer service preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred What Are Our Desired Skills and Capabilities? Skills/Knowledge: Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the role and consistently applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks effectively. Job Complexity: Handles assignments that range from routine to moderately difficult, requiring sound judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations. Supervision: Works with minimal supervision in daily tasks and receives general instructions on newly introduced assignments. Industry Knowledge: Possesses expert knowledge of the merchant payment industry, staying abreast of trends and developments. Decision Making: Exhibits advanced problem-solving abilities, making decisions quickly and effectively to resolve issues. Communication: A skilled and attentive listener, adept at establishing and maintaining long-lasting customer relationships through effective communication.
